A very LOOONG page of necklaces that I've made over the years....

This was made to wear to the Holiday party for Borshiem's...because of course I had NOTHING else to wear!!! After making it, the challenge was finding the out fit to match! It contains Green Kyanite as the flower petals, FWP's in Copper, peach and natural white and Prehnite (sterling and fine silver). Here's the entire NECKLACE, a CLOSE UP from the other side and ANOTHER VIEW of the entire thing. The BRACELET contains the same stones...

What a perfect cut for colorful Mookiate - leaves!  It screams fall. Here's a close up of the CENTER. A picture of the EARRINGS, and one of the BACK of the necklace.

I love the bail on this Dichroic glass from  Lyn Owen. She made this pendant with loops in both ends, allowing me to add fun spirals at the bottom.  Here's one more PICTURE.

This necklace is ALL about the heart pendant, made by Lyn Owen of Australia. Very vibrant and colorful, I wear it with SO many different things... Here's a close up of the HEART.

Coffee Jasper and Apatite are wrapped into a pendant.  Little accents of Apatite in the chain keeps this simple but striking. Here's one more PICTURE.

Pietersite is one of the more unique stones I've seen. It features a colorful mix of pale blues and soft purples with flecks of Pyrite. It matches perfectly with Chalcedony and sterling silver, don't you think? Here's a close up of the EARRINGS and a close up of the PENDANT.

A gorgeous piece of Labradorite is gently faceted and full of color that's nearly impossible to capture with a camera. On a sterling silver swirl and hanging on black leather. Here are some more angles HERE, and HERE.

This necklace features Freshwater Pearls in a Peach'ish/Pink'ish color, and a Coppery Bronze. The top drilled pearls are wrapped in a zig zag fashion with sterling silver, keeping them in place. Here are close ups of the CLASP, the CENTER and one of the SIDE components. Oh, and the EARRINGS.

A fascinating and intricately detailed Crazy Lace Agate stone is complimented by a heavy dose of Citrine, dark and colorful faceted Labradorite and sterling silver. A super neat Wood Spiral Pendant is the focus of this understated necklace. For men or women, this necklace could be worn with almost anything. It also includes Moss Agate, Mongolian Jasper and sterling silver. Here's the FULL NECKLACE.

Gorgeous faceted sea foam green Chalcedony is paired with a flashy Rainbow Moonstone bead, creating a stunning focal point and dangled from a black leather cord. Features a hand made clasp (S-Hook).

A large, long and softly faceted Smokey Quartz stone is accented with a sky blue Chalcedony stone and hung on a double strand of thin brown leather. Here's another PICTURE.

A earthy and rustic Turquoise stone is framed in hand coiled copper, and strung onto brown leather. A simple but stunning piece suitable for either sex. Here's another VIEW.

This pendant is composed of a loooooong Rhodonite stone, framed with sterling silver, fresh water pearls and a flashy round Labradorite. This is strung on black leather and has a sterling silver clasp (hand made S-Hook).

Sterling silver and copper wire are intricately mixed together spinning a "twist" on the classic circle pendant. Here's another VIEW.

A substantial length of heavy gauge sterling silver is hand formed and texturized into a wiggle (for lack of a better word). It's kept on your neck with a double strand of mixed gemstones and an artsy hand made clasp to complete the look. Here's a detail of the SILVER and a close up of the MIXED STONES.

A beautiful and fresh combination of colors and stones! The Semi-Precious stones used are Blue Amazonite, Orange Garnet, and Black Obsidian. The pendant is Black Gold Amazonite (it's called different things as well) and has flecks of gold mica in the black areas and is framed in hand coiled sterling silver. I adore Ocean Jasper and used it, with little round Hessonite stones to mimic the "bubbles" in the Jasper. It's all wrapped in Sterling Silver and hung on Rolo chain, with additional stones dispersed throughout to add detail. Another round'ish Turquoise stone, this time framed in sterling silver, and accented with Hessonite and a spiral at the top and bottom. On brown leather. Here's the full NECKLACE

A refreshing combination of pinks, reds and creams using the following stones - the pendant is carved Rhodonite with TINY fresh water pearls, Garnet and sterling silver. The neck strap is a random combination Rhodonite, Garnet, FWP in white and mauve, moonstone and sterling silver beads.

Large and lovely faceted Labradorite hangs from leather and sterling silver with Garnet in a unique setting that has the clasp as part of the bail of the necklace....does that make sense?

The focal bead here is one of five that I bought and just LOVE! It is Chalcedony Druzy (druzy is the term that describes the unfinished crystal surface left on the face of the bead). The other stones are faceted Labradorite and Iolite, along with some sterling silver beads. All of this is wrapped in a free form style onto leather for a very modern look. Thin sterling silver is wrapped around a thicker gauge of sterling and then faceted Garnet drops are made to dangle. The pendant is strung onto black silk cord and features a hand made clasp. THE PENDANT and a THE SET

Two Moss Agate beads are framed with swirling copper, oxidized and hung on a brown leather cord.

The focal point of this necklace is Dichroic glass. Dichroic (meaning two colors) can transmit one color, while reflecting another. This pendant (a cabachon-not drilled) has strong colors of red, orange and yellows, with hues of purples and greens, and is held in place by hand coiled and wrapped sterling silver frame that is embellished with Carnelian, Citrine, Green Aventurine and Labradorite. This features a clasp in the front, and the 2 strand neck chain is a bright mixture of natural gemstones that highlight the wonderful mix of colors present in the glass

Fantastically large yellow faceted Chalcedony is further brightened when paired with faceted Ruby Red Jade beads and then wrapped in sterling silver. CLOSE UP OF CENTER STONE

This BEAUTIFUL stone is Lake Superior Agate. This was part of a bead swap I did with a friend that is also a jewelry artist. Her Dad found and polished it, then she'd had it for many years. I wrapped it in hand twisted copper and am giving it back to her as a birthday gift. So, it's not available, can't be remade, but way to pretty to not show it!

Bright and faceted, this green Chrysophrase Necklace gets NOTICED! Combined with the Chrysophrase are glass bronze beads and sterling silver Egyptian coils.

A BEAUTIFUL deep green Oynx pendant is accented with Carnelian, Green Jade and Citrine. All of it is on sterling silver. Here's the CLASP, the CHAIN, and the BAIL.

A very basic necklace style that with beautiful Chalcedony faceted briolettes, becomes breath taking. These two briolette's dangle on a sterling silver chain and are accented with fresh water pearls, in all the right places. More pics: CLOSE UP, CLASP HANGING

Bold green Chalcedony "Teeth" beads are the focus in this fantastic necklace. On top of the teeth beads are a mixture of Citrine, Peridot, Carnelian, Green Aventurine, Garnet and Sunstone. The rest of the necklace is composed of hand formed and hammered sterling silver links and sterling chain

Carnelian is awesome, and so is this necklace! A nice large focal stone is suspended from round Carnelian beads that are wrapped and connected by wire rings. Lovely! FULL NECKLACE DETAIL OF WRAPPED LOOPS

Beautiful light blue Chalcedony dangles from a hand made chain with fresh water pearls and a little bit of Labradorite. I love this necklace set so much that I actually DRESSED UP just so I could wear it once! CLOSE UP FROM THE SIDE

A beautiful slide pendant created with Amethyst, Peridot, FWP and LOTS of sterling silver wire.

Wonderful fall colors in Mookite are perfect with copper. Something similar could be redone with a different donut and stones. Here's the full NECKLACE and the CLASP.

Here's a mouthful for ya - the stones here are Pietrisite (the large, long ones) and Larkavite (small and round) with Byzantine chain mail in Copper. Here's a CLOSE UP of the pendant and the necklace LAYING.

Hand cut sterling silver rings are joined with a mixture of Japanese teardrop beads to create a fantastic necklace.

Streaky silvery and blue, Kyanite is one of the more unique stones I use. It works perfectly with Labradorite and hangs from a sterling silver spiral thing...

Strung onto a leather cord, this big faceted nugget of Chrysophrase will have you and others wanting one for yourself, and wanting to know just how to say Chrysophrase.  Wrapped in sterling silver and completely unique!

Mongolian Jasper is the COOL stone used in this necklace, along with Green Aventurine, picture jasper and sterling silver. Super earthy. Here's a close up of the PENDANT.

Not a mutant raindrop, but Kyanite. This stone is blue and silvery, with lots of depth that doesn't come thru in this picture. The stone itself is 58 mm long and 17mm wide - NOT a necklace for the timid! Rather than complicate the necklace, I kept it simple beyond the pendant with hand twisted and wrapped sterling silver and leather. Details of the SILVER

Isn't that focal stone COOL!!! That is Crazy (some say Mad) Lace Jasper. It has a wonderful mixture of blues, yellows, whites and browns. This little...thing...began life as two swan clasps. This is what happens when I have a ton of custom orders, and need a quick brain break! It is Faceted Ruby Red Jade, Labradorite and tiny pearls on oxidized sterling silver.

It features 5 large Mad (Crazy) Lace stones wrapped with sterling, then complimented by a Carnelian center, light blue Chalcedony stones and of course, Labradorite. Another one that's gone, gone gone...Serpentine Jade and Carnelian. A great summer/fall necklace.

This stone is called "Hyperstene", and is hard to describe AND photograph. Depending on the angle, you can see streaks and lines of a silvery gray flash amongst the dark background of the rest of the stone. Really, very gorgeous and a rare stone to come across. Here's a CLOSER look.

Pretty basic, but boldly beautiful. This pendant was made free form style, hammered in some places to add texture, and then oxidized. Hand made copper clasp.

In my (active) imagination, this bead is what the color of the sky, water and clouds would look like if one was floating in the Caribbean Sea... This is Peruvian Blue Opal, Apatite and Hessonite with sterling silver and then put onto leather FULL VIEW SIDE ONE SIDE TWO

Flashy and bright Labradorite! There is SO much color in this piece of Labradorite that doesn't show in pictures. It is hung from a large sterling silver swirl, with more Labradorite and then from leather. A couple more pics: ANOTHER ANGLE, and from FARTHER BACK

The pendant on this necklace is I believe called Autumn Jasper...and those are the colors represented as well. Warm browns, creamy yellows and some beautiful burgandy's too. The "chain" part of the necklace is Mookite, Rainforest Jasper and Mohagany Jasper, along with sterling silver that has been hand coiled and oxidized for added detail HANGING, and COILED LINKS, PENDANT CLOSE UP

Thick gauge copper was first shaped into a wavy form, then pounded over & over again to add strength and texture. This sits right at the base of the neck and is held in place with strands of leather. More pictures: CLOSE UP the CLASP and another ANGLE

Hand twisted Sterling Silver is made into rings which are spaced between round stones in wonderful earth tones. The stones are Smokey Quartz, Yellow Aventurine and a green Jasper. The set comes with two pairs of earrings, in the creamy yellow Aventurine and Smokey Quartz. Seraphanite is a gorgeous green, creamy and silvery stone. In this necklace set, it is matched with top quality Fresh Water Pearls and sterling silver. The earrings are included with this set. Here's a close up of the FOCAL STONE, a veiw of the EARRINGS, and the CLASP.

All of these charm necklaces are composed of copper wire, and are strung onto leather with a hand made clasp.

Sterling silver, hand coiled, cut and worked together into the Byzantine weave. Right now, this necklace sits at just over 16", but can be adjusted if needed. This features a hand made S-Clasp. Here's a close up of the WIRE a view of the entire NECKLACE, and the CLASP.

Jewelry grade copper wire was hand coiled, cut into rings and then "sewn" together in the classic Byzantine pattern. This necklace has proven to be nearly impossible to photograph. The focal and accent stones are Chiastolite, or "Cross Stone" - only Mother Nature could make something so cool! This naturally colorful Black Lip Shell pendant is a gift from Mother Nature. The array of colors has to be seen to be believed! Coffee anyone? The focal of this necklace is composed of Coffee Jasper, and I don't see it around much. It's hard to tell from the photo's, but there's shiny dark streaks swirling on top of a matte lighter brown background. The rest is pearls and sterling silver with a hand made clasp. This beautiful pendant was made by Australian Artist LYN OWEN and is sweet & sassy! Packed full of color and detail, it dangles 1.5 inches from a 16 inches black silk cord and sterling silver bail. I can put this on a longer cord if you would prefer. Here's a CLOSE UP of the pendant.

A beautiful and flowing design made with copper wire, Turquoise tear drops and Mookaite stones. This is supported by multiple strands of thin brown leather and uses a hand made copper clasp. Here are detailed views of the CENTER FLOWER, the left SIDE, the right SIDE and the EARRINGS.

A stunning and colorful Dichroic Glass focal bead is intricately woven with thin sterling silver wire in a basket weave style, with a touch of additional color coming from tiny green Tourmaline stones. This is strung onto five strands of thin leather and has a very secure hand crafted toggle clasp. Dichroic glass has the ability to reflect one color while also transmitting another. I LOVE this Crab Fire Agate stone! So much detail and depth that's hard to imagine. Mother Nature does good work! Aside from the Crab Fire Agate, I also used Garnet and Fresh Water Pearls and sterling silver. Pictures of the EARRINGS, the STONE DETAIL, a close up of the PENDANT and from the TOP.

Silver and blues streak thru this piece of Kyanite and are accented by Hessonite, Iolite and sterling silver wire and beads. Hung on a delicate sterling chain. Another picture HERE and from the TOP.

Where's the wire??? I found myself asking myself that very question...well, other than the clasp, this turquoise and sterling silver didn't really demand it from me, and I listened. A classic necklace with quality and quantity. Here's details shots of MIDDLE, the LEFT SIDE, the RIGHT SIDE, the CLASP and the tiniest Turquoise Heishi I've EVER seen, on the BACK.

The focal of this necklace is Fossilized Coral, and has incredible depth and detail of times and creatures from long ago. It's wrapped in copper and sterling that's been twisted together, and matched with a variety of stones: Blue Chalcedony, Fossilized Coral, Yellow Aventurine, Hessonite and more twisted metal bits. There is a bracelet made to match but I haven't gotten a picture taken yet... Here's a close up of the STONES, and the pendant from both sides HERE and HERE.

This necklace is weighty. ALL stones are beautifully faceted, and include Rainbow Moonstone, Labradorite and Kyanite - all of my favorite stones. THANK YOU Sharilyn Miller for writing a wonderful book! Being in the middle of the country, I'm not able to take all of the classes I could if I lived on one of the coasts (especially west - you lucky people!) I was running low on sterling, and wanted to attempt this (actually I tried several times and failed until her book) monster of a necklace, and I'm very pleased with the result.
